FACC,FESC,(1958),Polish, medical doctor with habilitation, practicing in cardiology, regenerative medicine, precision medicine, radiology and internal medicine, Profesor AGH at Center off Excellence AI AGH, former assoc prof Collegium Medicum Jagiellonian University (2000-2008) former professor at Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University (2011-2017).
20 years’ experience in management (CEO) of the John Paul II Hospital in Krakow , founder of the Center for Diagnosis, Prevention and Telemedicine at John Paul II Hospital in Krakow - first digital hospital in Poland and first cardiac CT and MR cardio-radiology Center leader , coordinator and participant of numerous projects, including those co-funded by the EU, in the field, of infrastructure, cardiology, radiology, management , e-health and scientific and translational research.
Author and co-author of over 350 original and review papers and case reports in cardiology, cardiac radiology, radiology, telemedicine 15 chapters in reference books and scientific editor of 7 books, over 280 oral and poster presentations in cardiology, radiology ,e-health, public health and management. Hirsch index 24.
Originator of the innovative project “The Development of the Krakow Center for Medical Research and Technology” dedicated for precision and translational medicine and “The Integrated Center for Specialist Emergency Medicine” first in Poland approved for financing and implementation in Lesser Poland Region, years 2007-2013.
